Property Manager-Tenant Mediation

Property Manager-Tenant Mediation and Conflict Management

____________

Early Mediation is one of the best ways to resolve many issues between property managers and tenants.  Most property manager-tenant disputes happen because of a lack of communication.  We believe that most disputes can be resolved through mediation rather than going through the court process.  We specialize in property-manager mediation.

Mediation can help property managers and tenants resolve a dispute quickly.  We help by facilitating the discussion and by making sure the conversation is positive so both parties can move forward.  Reach out to us to learn more about our property manager-tenant mediation services.

Mediation has a high success rate of more than 80% of cases entering an agreement. When property managers and tenants agree to mediation, the parties have already started working together to resolve their issues.

How Does Mediation Work?

____________

Resolve conflicts through mediation

  • Mediation allows property managers and tenants to dictate the outcome rather than receiving a court order from a judge.
  • Mediation usually uncovers underlying issues for both property managers and tenants.
  • Mediation is confidential; nothing goes on either party’s public record.  The only thing that is not confidential is the mediation agreement.
  • Mediation saves time and money for both property managers and tenants.
  • Many court cases result in an out of court agreement before parties go in front of a judge anyway

We can help with the following issues

  • Non-payment of rent
  • Repair issues
  • Security deposit disputes
  • Roommates disputes
  • Breach of lease terms
  • Lease termination

How Does Mediation Work?

1

Party contact us to discuss whether mediation is a good fit for their situation. If mediation is a good fit, we invite the other party to mediate.

2

If the other party accepts the invitation to mediate, we schedule a virtual meeting where both parties can openly discuss the issues they consider important.

3

By resolving the issue out of court, parties are able to explore the underlying issues of their dispute.

4

Once the underlying issues come out in the open, it is easier to find an agreeable solution to both parties.

5

If an agreement is reached, then we draft an agreement that both parties sign to the terms they agree.
